We think that one of the best ways to learn more about SEM is by attending conferences. Although they can be expensive, most conferences offer student rates and your university might be able to give you some funding to cover the costs.
Joint BASEM/FSEM Conference.
This is the highlight of the year, one of the biggest conferences in Sports Medicine in the UK. As well as sessions from top professionals within SEM, there is an opportunity for undergraduates to present any work they have done through the Tom Donaldson Prize.
The 2016 BASEM/FSEM Conference will be held in Liverpool on the 13th and 14th October 2016. Below is a link for further details.
2017 National Undergraduate Conference- Feb/March 2017- Manchester
RSM Exercise Medicine Conference- 18th June 2016, London
Now in its fourth year, the annual Exercise Medicine conference is designed to bring together a wide range of individuals from all areas of healthcare to discuss the important topic of exercise.
This year we are bridging the gap between exercise medicine at a population level, and elite sport at a specialist level, to better understand the continuum and assist health practitioners in dealing with sport and activity related consultations throughout that spectrum.
The conference programme includes experts from disciplines such as public health, digital health, as well as clinical sports and exercise medicine, and athletes perspectives.
A conference to inspire and motivate our attendees to get more people physically active in the correct way.
